Something entered their site, brushed against the tent, and moved to mushrooms at the site edge while they shone a flashlight but saw nothing. After a quiet period it left the way it came, and in the morning the mushrooms were gone. The witness doubted bear, moose, or human explanations based on stride, sound, and lack of reaction to light and noise.

The witness was boiling maple sap by a fire around 1:30 a.m. when they went behind a shed and noticed a tall shadow-like figure moving toward the water. The figure traveled along a new gravel road/trail for about 30 seconds before disappearing into darkness, moving slowly with a side-to-side wobble and making no audible sound.

Two people were kayaking on a river corridor when they hit a log jam and went ashore to go around it. While on shore they found a series of large human-like footprints they felt did not match known local animals. They photographed the tracks, later estimated at 12 inches long, and reported hearing a pig squealing near the same spot on their return.

The witness went outside and found large footprints in the yard leading from the road in front of the house to the back of the property. The witness made a cast of one print found in pea gravel. The cast measured 14 inches long by 9 inches wide and was taken to a park ranger, who said it was not a bear or other local animal.
