Two individuals reported being chased onto a dam by something on a lake bank. The creature then ran off into the woods. It was described as hairy and moving upright on two legs. The account was shared only after two acquaintances reported their own strange experience.

Just after WWI, a miner leading burros loaded with ore met two upright creatures blocking a canyon trail. After a brief standoff he led his animals around them and continued. On his return trip they were gone. He later described them as a large heavy male about eight feet tall and a shorter lighter female.
