Former Highway patrol officer witnesses a Sasquatch cross the road behind him.
The witness was driving north on Highway 95 in the early morning hours en route to a business appointment in the Coeur d'Alene and Hayden area. He looked in his rearview mirror and saw a large, man-like creature walking across the roadway behind his vehicle. He turned around and returned to the crossing location, but the creature had disappeared into dense vegetation.

Several bow hunters hear an unusual loud scream while hunting elk
A group archery hunting for elk heard elk bugling and then an extremely loud scream from across the valley. The witness described it as a roar trailing into a high-pitched scream and said it was not a cougar or elk. The group had hunted the area often and had never heard anything like it, and they encountered nothing further.
