Country boys have frightening nightime encounter 50 miles south of Louisville
The witness and two companions stopped on a rural back road at night and heard a distant knock, then sounds of wood breaking after the witness whistled. After driving on to turn around and stopping again, the witness shone a light into the woods and saw a tall dark hairy figure with eyeshine watching them. The encounter lasted only a few seconds before the group drove away in fear.

On a Monday afternoon day off, the witness hiked alone to a remote glacial pond and bog. From the pond overlook around 1pm she noticed a figure wading at the far edge and took two photos, after which the figure turned to look at her. Feeling frightened she left, later checked the shoreline from another path and found no one, and on reviewing the images thought the figure looked inhuman.
Knocks and Orbs at Spectacle Lake in Madawaska Valley
Five campers staying at Spectacle Lake reported hearing tree knocks on two consecutive nights after 10 pm, first from across the lake where they believed no other people were present and then from very close to their cottage. The reporter knocked back after the first knocks and received no reply. On the second night several campers also saw fast blue and pink flashes described as orbs and felt a presence in the dense treeline without seeing anything, reporting that they did not feel scared.

A couple stopped their car on an isolated forest road and made whoop sounds. They heard wood knocks and strange whoop-like vocalizations answered from both downhill and uphill sides of the road. The exchange lasted about five minutes until a distant dog barked and the couple left.

Two companions walking on a Lake Superior beach at dusk with a dog approached a large driftwood pile when the dog reacted and stopped. They saw a large dark upright silhouette on the far side of the pile that bent down, gripped a log as if to climb over, then ducked out of view when a flashlight was aimed at it. The head was seen popping up briefly before they retreated to the parking lot.

A family of four was sitting by a lake when they heard crashing and crunching of something large moving in the woods about 50 yards away. This was followed by three very loud knocks from the same area where two children had just been playing and chopping trees. The group left immediately while the adult male stood watch, and later searches found only game sign and a few possible tracks.
Loud bigfoot whoops heard by homeowners not far from last year's sighting outside Toronto, Ohio
One witness let dogs out in the early morning and heard a loud whoop from the woods behind the house, hearing it again when she opened the door. She ran inside frightened. The couple then went outside together and heard another whoop farther down the hollow.

The witness was at home bringing in trash cans in the evening when two whoop sounds were heard from the property about three minutes apart. The witness started recording after the second sound but heard no further whoops or movement while listening for several more minutes.
Possible daylight sighting of a sasquatch near powerlines 2 miles east of Hammondsville
The witness dropped a companion at a nearby farmhouse and drove to a barn on a hunting property in the morning. From the barn, the witness saw a tall black upright figure on the far crest of a field that stepped left, paused, then moved out of sight within about 15 seconds. The legs were not visible and no binoculars were available, but the witness said it moved like a person and was none of the common local animals.

A couple hiking in a wetland preserve heard several loud wood knocks after crossing a boardwalk bridge. Later on the trail they found several large barefoot human-like tracks pressed deeply into mud, which the reporter photographed. No creature was seen and no other unusual events occurred at the time.

The witness hiked the Big Cypress boardwalk trail around noon and stepped off the pavement toward a clearing. Shortly after leaving the path they heard a short deep humming or groaning sound to one side and something falling through leaves behind them, then retreated to the path. After starting back toward the clearing they heard a single crisp wood-on-wood knock and then ran to their car.
Bigfoot howls heard west of Hideaway Lake, 9 miles south of Sabine River
The witness reports hearing prolonged howls from the forested area behind the home during the early morning hours, believing there were two sources at different distances. When the witness shone a flashlight toward the tree line the nearer howling stopped while the farther howling continued, followed by two metallic taps on a nearby wire fence line. Two neighbors later said they also heard the sounds. No visual observation is reported.

The witness and three young relatives were camping overnight in a tent in a mostly deserted campground. At about 3:30 a.m. the witness was awakened by multiple sizable rocks striking the ground near the tent and rolling toward it without hitting it. In the morning the group found several roundish rocks near the tent that appeared newly placed and could not replicate the throw. The group left the campground after a brief exchange with a parking attendant and continued camping elsewhere.

While deer hunting near Hyatt Lake, the witness heard a large object crash through the woods moving away. Shortly after stopping, the witness heard tree knocks from the same direction, then heard additional knocks behind while walking back to a truck on the main road. Despite aiming a rifle scope toward the sounds from under 100 yards away, the witness saw nothing and was frightened.

A driver traveling west on an interstate in Pennsylvania in the late afternoon saw a tall, uniformly dark, slender upright figure cross the highway from right to left in front of a car ahead. The figure moved quickly and smoothly, cleared a guardrail without pausing, and disappeared into a wooded median within a few seconds. A passenger in the truck did not see the figure.

Three witnesses feeding a dog noticed dogs barking and running toward a figure emerging from a treed area. The figure moved quickly without running across a pasture toward a pond, walking upright before dropping to all fours near the pond, while the dogs stopped barking and returned to the house. On the morning of September 9, 2025, the witness parked at Manker Flats to prepare for a hike. While at the vehicle, the witness heard a very loud wail or scream lasting about 10-15 seconds from the north. The witness froze, then started a hike after a delay, having captured only the tail end of the sound on phone video.

While walking alone in the afternoon the witness noticed a brief skunk-like odor and then heard repetitive knocking from the woods. The witness tapped a stick on trees in patterns and heard knocks returned in the same numbers, first from one direction and later from two directions. After a much louder wood-on-wood smashing sounded nearby and the other knocks stopped, the witness left the forest quickly without seeing the source.
"Ohio howls" heard by campers in Kern Canyon 15 miles north of Isabella Lake
The witness and his wife were camping with their dogs when they heard repeated long howls echoing from the surrounding ridges. The witness joked at the time that it was Bigfoot but later became convinced after a shopkeeper said other campers reported similar sounds. After returning home the wife identified a played recording as exactly matching what they had heard.

They heard three separate sets of three rhythmic knocks that sounded progressively farther away, noticed the woods had gone quiet and the dog remained alert, and felt watched until reaching the main trail.
