He did not see the trackmaker and stopped tracking to continue hunting.

During summer 1965 the witness was exploring woods near military housing when he found very large barefoot prints in red clay leading into the trees. While on a trail he heard heavy bipedal footsteps that appeared to follow him, stopping when he stopped and rushing toward him, causing him to flee to the housing area. He returned with a friend and both heard the same following footsteps rush toward them before fleeing, with the friend reporting an indistinct large movement in the brush.

On a Sunday night, repeated shrieks were heard in brushland where a roughly 10-foot-tall grotesque man-like figure was reported. At about age 11, the witness was walking alone to a restaurant hangout around midday in winter when he noticed very large bare footprints with distinct toes in the snow of a vacant field. The prints formed a long stride and ran southwest across the entire field. He did not see the maker and did not report it at the time because of his young age.

The witnesses found a line of very large barefoot human-like tracks in snow on their farm leading into a wooded hollow and thickets, which they did not follow. The tracks were described as about 13 inches long with five toes, no claws, and a 4.5 to 5 foot stride, unlike bear tracks. The son joined his father and both watched the first figure and a second slightly smaller one walk along the woods edge before disappearing into the trees.

As a child on a family vacation at a secluded cabin, the witness experienced nighttime garbage disturbance and loud branch snapping during an afternoon walk. One morning the family found several very large footprints in damp dirt outside the cabin, so large that an adult foot was dwarfed inside one. The family left the same day without making a cast of the prints.
Possible tracks found in Jasper National Park
The witness was solo backpacking in the North Boundary area of Jasper National Park in 1987 or 1988. Near midday he found several very fresh, large human-like barefoot prints crossing the muddy trail at an angle from dense bush toward a bog. He estimated they were less than an hour old but took no photos and continued hiking, later concluding they may have been sasquatch tracks. He reported nothing else unusual for the rest of the trip.

The witness reported finding very large footprint-like tracks in melting snow on a road south of Hope, B.C., with an unusually long stride. The snow had melted to gravel within the outlines, but the shape looked more like a footprint than a boot print. The witness returned home for a camera and yardstick to document track size and spacing and shared photos to ask whether they could be Bigfoot tracks.
