Campers describe early AM approach near Coldwater Creek Campground outside Yacolt
A couple sleeping in their parked SUV at a logging-road campsite were awakened around 2:30 a.m. when the wife felt a firm touch on her leg through a partially open rear window and then heard light footfalls moving away. Neither witness saw anything when listening and peeking out. In the morning they found very large muddy fingerprints on the vehicle near the window.
Two deer hunters experience a likely week-long encounter near Nashport
Two companions camped while hunting for five days near Dillon State Park. On successive nights they heard tree knocks from multiple directions, whistles, whoops, loud yells and screams that approached the camp, growling near the camper, and banging on vehicles in a nearby junkyard. By day they found numerous large human-like footprints in a shallow spillway and on a sandy bank, which they photographed with boots for scale. They reported no visual sighting but concluded the sounds and tracks were from a large, athletic creature.

The witness was driving home at night on a dirt backroad when something struck the truck, leaving scratches and a dent on the passenger door. After calling for help, the witness with two relatives found footprints along the road and photographed them. While photographing they saw green eye-shine above the brush and a large upright shadowy outline, then heard wood knocks, growling and heavy footsteps before the eyes disappeared.
After exploring old gold mines a rock is thrown at a moving vehicle near Georgetown
The witness was driving back down a logging road in the afternoon after looking for old mines to prospect. A rock thrown from the wooded hillside struck the roof of the vehicle and left a dent. After stopping and getting out, the witness saw a large dark creature moving up the hill into the trees. The witness believed the creature had thrown the rock.
