From about 200 feet away they heard growl-whoop-scream vocalizations and wood-on-wood thumps, followed later by pea gravel striking the truck. Trail cameras reportedly captured gravel in motion and a large black partial figure showing shoulder, arm and open hand.

The witness was driving west on Highway 60 after crossing the Brazos River around 2:45 a.m. when a large dark shape on the roadside rose to a standing position and stepped or leapt into the darkness. The view lasted about two seconds at highway speed, revealing a very tall, thick bipedal figure that appeared dark with no discernible features. The witness, who said they had not previously believed in such beings, reported being shaken and convinced by what they saw.

The witness was camping and sitting in shade at a developed campground when a fast-moving dark figure crossed the campground north to south about 125 yards away. The sighting lasted about three seconds and showed only the torso from the hips up, described as very thick and dark with a reddish tint, with little to no neck and a slight forward lean while running. The witness later inspected the path and reported crushed grass and a crushed fern along the suspected route toward thick timber.

They heard several loud noises likened to yelling or a panther cry, then both saw a large dark upright figure move quickly between tree rows. Frightened, they left quickly, and the witness later concluded it resembled a Sasquatch.

Late in the evening the witness was sitting by an outdoor fire near a pasture when she noticed a head-and-shoulders outline above tall weeds to her side and heard a slight noise from that direction. She then saw a small limestone rock rolling nearby, which alarmed her because no natural cause was apparent, and she went inside. The next morning she found sticks, corn stalks and dirt clods in the driveway but nothing explaining the shape.

The witness and a neighbor went into the wooded area of the witness's Florida property after dark to investigate heavy footsteps in leaves and brush. The neighbor ran toward the sounds expecting a person while the witness stayed about 30 yards away. A tall figure then ran past the witness in moonlight at extraordinary speed.

The witness was driving back down a logging road in the afternoon after looking for old mines to prospect. A rock thrown from the wooded hillside struck the roof of the vehicle and left a dent. After stopping and getting out, the witness saw a large dark creature moving up the hill into the trees. The witness believed the creature had thrown the rock.

After picking up a relative at the airport, the witness became lost while driving at night with her two children on unmarked rural roads. While traveling slowly near a church, she and the children noticed a large brown furry figure crouched by the roadside ditch with its back to the road. They did not stop and continued home. The witness first assumed it was a bear but later questioned that after learning brown bears are not found in the state.

A shadowy fur-covered biped stood up about 30 feet away and walked calmly across the road before disappearing into vegetation. The witness stayed awake afraid until daylight and left quickly in the morning.

During a lunch break they noticed a tall dark stump-like shape about 25-30 yards into the forest and watched it remain motionless for 30-45 minutes. The witness stopped along a one-lane road to let dogs out and glimpsed two dark figures crossing the road quickly at a curve, seeing only their upper halves. The figures disappeared around the turn and were not seen again despite visibility of the road beyond. About an hour later the witness returned and found a slide mark and a possible ball-and-toe impression on the muddy bank where the figures had crossed. The witness first took them for hooded people but later considered them possibly bigfoots due to their appearance, upright bipedal movement, and lack of a trail.

The witness's husband and another adult were sitting with boys camping in the woods on a moonlit night when the husband noticed a figure moving between trees, with moonlight visible between its legs. The group left the woods, and the next day the witness found footprints and poured a mold of one, plus other ground and vegetation signs. The investigator later reported the couple described a seven-foot-tall, wide-shouldered creature with a cone-shaped head and no neck.
