The witness and three young relatives were camping overnight in a tent in a mostly deserted campground. At about 3:30 a.m. the witness was awakened by multiple sizable rocks striking the ground near the tent and rolling toward it without hitting it. In the morning the group found several roundish rocks near the tent that appeared newly placed and could not replicate the throw. The group left the campground after a brief exchange with a parking attendant and continued camping elsewhere.

The witness returned to the parked truck after walking dogs uphill on a road. He found a truck door open, then two rocks came from an uphill ridge, one landing in front of the truck and a larger one passing close to him. In the morning the camp was undisturbed and a rock was found in a hammock behind the camper.

They searched the apparent origin area and found a fresh large bass displayed on a boulder, aligned toward the path, with no other people around. Over several nights in December the witness and their partner sat on their home lanai at night and heard a loud cry or scream, rock-clacking sounds, and stones or pebbles striking the house and lanai, and noticed a strange unknown odor for two days. No creature was seen. An investigator later visited the property, found a displaced rock, a single possible footprint, and nearby scat, and noted the property backs onto a power-line corridor.

On a Friday night during an archery-hunt camping trip, the witness and a relative sat by the campfire while two unseen presences circled the camp, breaking branches, pacing, and making heavy footsteps. Small rocks and sticks were then thrown into camp, including a softball-sized rock that landed nearby, followed by impacts on a food box and the trailer. Others sheltering in the trailer also heard footsteps, breaking branches, impacts, and a heavy sigh, and later a branch-like object was dragged across the trailer roof.
