On a February night during a team camping investigation, the witness walked a sandy road near powerlines and found large footprint impressions in the sand. The team marked the clearest prints and returned in the morning to document a faint quarter-mile trackway ending at a creek, measuring 16-inch prints with a 54-inch stride. The witness's family discovered a long trail of large footprints on their hunting property on a winter weekend in 1991.
