The witness and two companions went into a pine forest near the home in the early evening and the witness made whoop calls. Seconds later they heard a distant long howl lasting several seconds, then while walking back they heard three much closer whoops from the same direction. Startled, they ran back to the house.

Passenger sees a large figure moving between buildings in Biron
The witness was riding as a passenger in a relative's van past a storage facility in the evening. The witness saw a tall brown human-like figure moving upright between the buildings with a fast smooth stride and a swinging arm. The relative slowed to look for it on the other side of the building, but it did not reappear. The witness stated it was not a person or bear.
