Dark figure observed thru binoculars during an afternoon on Baker Lake near Swift Creek
The witness was sitting on a picnic table overlooking the lake and scanning the far treeline with binoculars while a relative photographed nearby. She noticed what looked like a dark head and upper body peeking from beside a tree across the lake, watched it for several minutes, then found it gone after looking away and back. She mentioned it to the relative, who searched with a camera lens but saw nothing.
Campers startled by large figure behind their site
The witness was camping with two companions on a wooded hillside when the companions left the tent site to gather firewood. About 30 feet away both companions saw a very large dark hairy upright figure step from behind a tree and disappear quickly into the woods. They screamed and ran back in panic, and the group stayed camped through heavy rain that evening.
