Unexplained loud banging and whoops heard by a homeowner near Virginia Beach

About a week before the report, the witness was awakened at about 3:30 a.m. by repeated loud banging likened to woodblocks slamming that lasted about 10 minutes. The sounds came from dense state-owned woods behind the home, later estimated at about 70 yards to the southeast.
