Grande Prairie resident has possible sighting at sundown from backyard
In spring 2016 after returning home from an evening walk near his home, the witness looked back across an open field toward the woods and saw the back of a tall, broad, hair-covered upright creature standing still about 150 yards away. After a few seconds it moved quickly into the woods. He later estimated it was over seven feet tall with no visible neck and a peaked, caramel-colored head and back.

Recollection of hearing frightening vocalizations in the Fort Worth Nature Center
The witness and two companions had parked by a river at night when they heard three extremely loud scream-like howls from the woods behind them. The sounds were described as loud, long, echoing, and angry. Frightened, all three got into the truck and drove away quickly to the highway without seeing the source.
