The witness heard repeated howls moving around the house in the early morning, starting close in the treeline and shifting to different sides of the property. After retreating inside, small rocks were heard hitting the porch roof for several minutes. The witness woke his wife and both heard additional more distant howls over the next hour before it became quiet.

The witness settled into a 6-foot ground blind before daylight to deer hunt. Something stepped over a nearby fence and approached with heavy footsteps, then breathed, sniffed and pressed down on the top of the blind. Over a couple months of visits to a small rural cemetery, the witness and companions repeatedly heard wood knocks surrounding them, logs or objects being thrown, and a walnut thrown back toward them. They also heard growls, hissing, grunts, yells and screams on separate occasions, and once heard a large unseen thing charge to the cemetery edge then go silent. They never saw the source, reported no departing footsteps, and described a persistent feeling of being watched and warned from entering the woods.

The witness was a passenger in a car with five companions driving at night. A large dark hair-covered figure on two feet ran across the divided highway in front of the car, crossing multiple lanes in a few seconds. Only the witness and the driver saw it, and the driver stopped briefly before reversing to a turnaround and leaving.
