Motorist sees a huge figure cross behind her vehicle near Sallisaw
The witness stopped at a rural four-way intersection before sunrise while driving to work and turned left. As she completed the turn, a very large athletic figure ran across behind her minivan from one side to the other, seen only as a silhouette in the rear window. She kept driving without stopping and remained rattled by the sighting.

Possible tracks found in yard north of VIan
The witness went outside and found large footprints in the yard leading from the road in front of the house to the back of the property. The witness made a cast of one print found in pea gravel. The cast measured 14 inches long by 9 inches wide and was taken to a park ranger, who said it was not a bear or other local animal.
