Possible vocalizations heard near Huntington Reservoir

The witness was family camping below Huntington Reservoir. Late at night on two consecutive nights, the witness and their father sat by the campfire and heard long moaning howls repeating for over an hour. The sounds seemed to come from a distant opposite ridge from at least two different directions.
