Knocks heard from Great Croton Swamp south of Pawling
The witness was sitting alone by a campfire late at night when they heard something moving through woods toward neighboring houses, sounding bipedal. Several minutes later they heard a distant wood knock to one side, an answering knock from the opposite direction, then another knock from the first direction. The witness described the sequence as an instantaneous call and response in an otherwise quiet neighborhood.

The witness was changing a tire on his car at about 10PM when he heard powerful whooping calls from the woods behind his residence, followed by wood knocks. He said the calls resembled those he had heard on this site. The witness sat on the front porch steps in the evening and saw a tall hairy figure standing in the woods near the chicken coop, which then ran away. After it left, knocking sounds were heard from the woods. Shortly before, a relative had been growled at near the coop and had retrieved a firearm.
Man finds possible footprint outside Palatka
The witness was hiking alone on the Florida Trail when he found very large bare human-like footprints on a dirt road that had been clear of prints shortly before. He did not see the track-maker but reported feeling watched and then hearing a yelp described as half dog and half human. He did not photograph the prints and hurried back to his truck.

The witness and a companion were fishing on a lake around 1 a.m. when they heard coyotes yipping and barking, then loud grunt and moan-like sounds, followed by a scream-like cry and silence. Frightened by the loudness, the witness pulled the anchors and left. The witness later attributed the deep sounds to a Bigfoot.
Possible red eyeshine in woods near Garrison, New York
The witness drove late to a job site to retrieve a bobcat loader with a dump truck and trailer. While loading, he noticed a skunk-like smell and then saw red eyes watching from down the road, appearing taller than six feet. After moving the truck he saw the same eyes again about 30 feet into the woods at roughly his eye level from the cab. He maneuvered to turn the truck around and drove away quickly without looking back for several miles.
