Motorist sees a tall man-like figure standing in a field at dawn near Cedartown
At dawn while driving to work, the witness scanned a pasture for deer and saw a tall man-shaped figure standing in grass about 30 yards from the road. The upper body and head were visible above roughly 3-foot grass, with an estimated total height of about 8 feet. The witness continued about a quarter-mile before being able to stop and return, by which time the figure was gone without a visible trail, and after watching several minutes continued to work.

At noon on a clear day, two men standing on high ground overlooking a pond watched a tall, black hair-covered biped walk through pines behind the pond for about 100 feet. They estimated its height at 8-9 feet using a 4-foot fence for scale and said it walked casually without noticing them. When it should have entered an open clearing it was gone, and a search of the area found no trace.

Two companions were deer hunting in forest land in the fall and regrouped at their vehicle after one found a freshly torn-apart deer carcass. While examining the carcass they reported a feeling of being watched and a strong odor described as wet dog mixed with rotting garbage. As they walked back to the vehicle near dark they heard something moving parallel in the undergrowth, then heard a loud scream from very close range, prompting them to fumble with their unloaded guns and leave quickly.
