Marines on a training mission have a possible night encounter on Fort Lewis
The witness was serving as point man on a night patrol exercise at Ft. Lewis when he encountered a very large human-like figure at close range in moonlight. Frightened, he fired blanks from his squad automatic weapon at it. The figure ran away bipedally through thick brush with huge steps and disappeared over a hill. Marines behind him reportedly also saw it.
Woman recalls driving at night and feeling her car get shoved by a large biped near Steilacoom
Around 10 p.m. on a dark drizzly night in spring 1993, the witness was driving home on a two-lane road near Puget Sound after dropping off a friend. She felt a hard shove to the rear of her car pushing it into the other lane. Looking up she saw a very tall gray hair-covered biped walking upright away into the woods. She drove home terrified and later found no dent or scratch on the car.
Youths in Summer Camp have noisy nighttime experience
The witness was sleeping in a cabin during a summer camp session when loud nighttime noises caused an uproar. A cabin-mate reportedly looked out and described multiple large, hairy, human-like figures near the water tower and cabins. The next morning the witness saw extensive human-like footprints, a large uprooted tree, and vegetation pulled from the lake. Campers were walked around the perimeter to view the traces and were sent home early.
