Couple sees bipedal creature jump across a logging road near Naselle

On the evening of the day after Christmas 1992, the witness and her ex-husband were driving on Deep River Mainline toward Naselle in snowy, dark conditions with only headlights. A large creature leapt across the narrow road in front of their moving car in a single fast motion described as a blur. The witness stated it was bigger than a bear and could not have been a bear, noting bears hibernate at that time of year.
