Fishern reports knocks and trees pushed over on lake near Greenwood
Over spring and summer 2022 the witness repeatedly visited a remote trout pond to fish from a canoe. During visits the witness heard multiple tree falls and many tree knocks without seeing the source, with activity increasing to a peak in mid-August. On a mid-August visit the witness found a birch section leaned against another tree at the water's edge that had not been noticed before and later found intact birch bark on rocks blocking the trail. The witness reported strange occurrences only while on the pond fishing, not while hiking in, out, or around.
Possible footprint found by a family looking for moose antlers near Wilson Mills
While searching for shed moose antlers, the witness and a companion followed moose tracks past a clearing to a small runoff ditch. There they found a single very large five-toed human-like bare footprint with no claw marks, which they photographed with small objects for scale. They also noted multiple similarly broken trees angled to point along the game trail into dense woods.
Camper reports loud "groaning grunting barking sounds" on consectutive nights while camping near South Arm
The witness camped alone for two nights in mid-July near Lower Richardson Lake. On both evenings after rain eased, the witness heard very loud deep groaning, barking and moaning sounds from a pond area below the tent. The witness stayed in the tent without investigating, heard the sounds again the second night, and left early the next day.
