Car passenger spots a large brown figure at the St. John's River near Christmas
The witness was riding in a car crossing the St. Johns River on Highway 50 in the early evening when she glanced toward the river. She saw a large brown upright figure walking away from the water's edge, taking several large steps with noticeable arm swing. She perceived it as uniformly colored with no visible clothing and much taller than a human, and told her companions about it only after arriving at the restaurant.

Five people were driving at night hoping to see something. Three of them saw a large dark bipedal figure run quickly from a tree into a pasture toward a tree line. One reported huge widely spaced silver eye shine, and the group noticed a foul rotting-garbage odor after stopping and opening windows.
