Retired police officer describes possible nighttime sighting near Monroe
The witness was driving home late at night through a semi-rural area when headlights revealed a large dark animal on all fours rooting through roadside trash cans. As the vehicle approached, the animal stood upright on two legs, towering over the small vehicle and showing a hair-covered face with open mouth. The driver slowed, avoided looking directly at it, and sped past, describing the encounter as shocking and traumatizing.
Man hears multiple moans and sees a gray creature outside of Bloomington
The witness and a companion arrived at a house at night and heard repeated loud moans. After the witness called back, nearby trees shook and dogs barked in succession. A grayish two-legged figure then ran quickly across a field with long strides and dropped behind vegetation. Shortly after, metal clanking was heard and lawn furniture was found displaced.
Three men have a late night encounter with a bi-pedal figure
Three friends were on a late-night bike ride and had stopped to talk by a pond. They noticed a tall tan-or-gray figure standing behind a tree in the darkness. As they approached, the figure moved bipedally across the path toward the woods and one witness saw it glance back. The group followed to the wood line and heard movement in the branches for a short time before silence.
Nightime sighting on SR 78 near Woodsfield
The witnesses were riding around in heavy snow late at night when they saw a large gray creature cross the road about 200 yards away. Its head appeared to clear an 8-foot road sign. Afterwards they found very large three-toed tracks in the snow coming down a steep bank and continuing across the highway with a long stride.
