Motorist observes possible nighttime road crossing near Troy
The witness and a companion were driving home in the evening when they rounded a corner and saw a large upright grayish-black animal standing in the middle of the road. The animal took a few strides and disappeared into the surrounding heavy woods. The witness estimated it was about seven feet tall and said its face was obscured by hair.

Possible nighttime sighting along Scott-Troy Road south of Troy
The witness was driving on Scott-Troy Road at night after work. A large, black, hairy upright animal crossed the road in a few giant bounds and disappeared on the other side. The witness slowed to try to see it again but could not see it in the darkness.
