Possible evening sighting by pedestrian on the outskirts of Little River and N. Myrtle Beach

About two weeks before reporting, the witness was walking along Highway 17 at night to and from a store. On the return trip beside a wooded creek, something moved through the brush and seemed to follow, stopping when the witness stopped. In a partially lit spot at the woods edge the witness saw a reddish, long-haired, ape-like creature squatting with its long arms forward.
