Couple hears vocalizations on Short Mountain

A witness living on a remote farm reported prolonged screaming and growling from the ridges around the house late at night. The sounds appeared to circle the house for over an hour and were accompanied by tree cracking and rock-clicking noises. The witness went onto the porch briefly then remained inside frightened, without seeing any creature.
