Late at night, the witness slipped outside to knock on her brother's window as a prank. As she raised her fist near the window, a deep, body-vibrating growl/roar came from very close above her. Too frightened to look up, she froze briefly then ran back inside and spent the night in her brother's room.

Two roommates heard loud wailing vocalizations from outside while watching a movie late at night. The sounds started low and guttural then rose to a high wavering pitch and repeated after a pause, causing neighborhood dogs to react loudly. After the sounds stopped, the witness stepped outside, noticed a horrible smell and a feeling of being watched, then went back inside.
