Resident hears possible early morning vocalizations near Westfield
Around 3 a.m. the witness went outside to smoke after being unable to sleep and heard distant, powerful howls/screams lasting about ten minutes that faded as if the source was moving. The witness woke a friend, who also heard the sounds and found them chilling. Both men, experienced outdoors, said the vocalizations were unlike any familiar nocturnal animal sounds.

Night fisherman has possible encounter at the Cobble Mountain Reservoir
The witness was fishing alone by low water late at night when heavy footsteps approached through brush. The witness saw eyeshine and a dark shoulder-like silhouette and then heard a loud high-pitched shrieking howl. Frightened, the witness abandoned fishing gear and ran back to the car.
