The witness was riding home at night with two relatives during high winds and approaching rain when a large hairy figure ran upright across the road ahead of the car. The witness and one relative saw it briefly, while the other relative missed it. They first thought it was a bear but concluded it was something else because it stayed upright and looked more human.
