Strange encounter experienced by LEO's camped near Goldbond

A group of coworkers camped in a densely wooded valley in Jefferson National Forest. Around 12:30 a.m. they heard distant vocalizations from two different directions, then small stones were thrown toward their picnic table over an extended period while they felt watched. Shortly before sunrise the next morning, several members of the group heard a brief speech-like sound from dense woods that shocked them. No visual sighting occurred and the witness left later that day.
