Residents report possible bigfoot sounds at night 25 miles north of Pensacola
For about three years the witness and spouse have heard nighttime branch-snapping and bipedal-sounding footsteps near their home without ever seeing the source. During the most recent late-night episode while on their porch they heard a clacking sound like rocks struck together. Their dog often moves toward and sniffs the area where the footsteps are heard.

The witness and a relative hiked into river swamp woods to hunt squirrel and heard bipedal footsteps described as like a man walking. Later in a meadow they found a single large bare footprint with toes in soft soil around an ant bed, larger than the witness's boot. The witness photographed the track with a shell for scale and measured its length and width.
Hunters report loud wood knocks in Escambia River Swamp, 3/4 mile NW of Cotton Lake Boat Ramp
The witness and two relatives were sitting in an enclosed deer blind near a river swamp in the morning. They heard three loud sounds like wood being struck nearby, followed shortly by three similar sounds from farther into the swamp. The woods were otherwise silent, and the group dismantled the blind and left soon after.
