The witness was camping overnight with family members and dogs near a lake and trail. Around 1 a.m. while awake in his tent, he heard footsteps approaching from the woods and passing behind a relative's tent, with no flashlight visible, while a dog whined and reacted. No creature was seen. He interpreted the sounds as a bipedal creature.
