Hikers hear possible wood knocks and loud screams near Mount Horeb
The witness was walking in a park with two other adults and a young child in early fall 2011 near dusk. The group heard rhythmic knocks from nearby woods, then heard a loud unfamiliar scream twice while walking back to the car, the second time closer. Companions also heard the knocks and joked about the sound being Bigfoot. The witness concluded the scream was not human or coyote and attributed it to a Sasquatch.

Bow hunter recalls being shaken by possible incidents near Mount Horeb
After bow hunting, the witness waited by a car near the woods edge for a companion. Hearing loud bipedal movement approaching inside the treeline, the witness called out thinking it was the companion. A loud guttural growl answered from close range, and the walker continued loudly parallel to the field without stopping.
