Teens find footprint in abandoned strip mining area near Pittsburg

In early summer 1981, the witness, then 13, was exploring strip-mine slag heaps with two companions. He found a single large bare footprint in soft mud beside a small pond between the heaps. He estimated it at 18 inches long by 7 inches wide and noted the surrounding rocky ground would cut bare feet. He interpreted the track as left by Bigfoot.
