During day trip to mountains, couple hear branch breaks, rocks thrown while repairing vehicle, near Coquille

The witness and two companions stopped at a creek bridge to get water for an overheating vehicle. While attempting to collect water with a cup on a string, they heard movement on the steep hillside and had small stones and then a large rock thrown toward them from uphill. They left quickly without seeing what threw the rocks.
