The witness was camped with his wife along FR 124 east of Flagstaff. While on an evening walk he heard a brief coyote chorus followed by two mid-pitch "AH,OO" calls from farther in the same direction. After returning to camp he heard additional "AH,OO" and high-pitched "WOW" calls from the same direction, totaling six odd calls, then heard nothing more by 9 PM.
Rock throwing incident at Woods Canyon Lake
The witness was fishing at a lake spillway in the afternoon when a basketball-sized rock flew through trees from an upslope hill to the east and landed in the lake. Birds that had been chirping went quiet, and another nearby fisherman who also saw it left. The witness later smelled a strong skunk-like odor upwind.

The witness and a companion were camping and sitting by a campfire at night when they heard a series of 12 loud, clear screams from the east. The witness was camping with family in old-growth pine forest on Mormon Mountain east of Flagstaff. After going to bed around midnight, repeated whooping yells were heard approaching within about 100 yards, circling the camp, then moving away over about ten minutes. The witness, a lifelong hunter, said he had never heard such sounds until later hearing similar vocalizations on a research website.

The witness was playing in the snow with relatives after pulling over on a mountain road near Jacob Lake and the North Rim. The group heard a loud yelling-like sound, then a second loud, clear, deep howl that the witness compared to a reference howl. They left the area quickly without seeing what made the sound.
Possible vocalizations heard at sundown near the North Rim of the Grand Canyon
The witness and seven relatives camped for several nights on a hunting trip and heard repeated double whoop vocalizations each evening from dusk until just after dark. The sounds came from ridges around camp, with a regular source to the west and additional answering sources to the southeast and north on later nights. The witness said the sounds resembled examples on the archive site and were unlike familiar animal sounds of the region.
Memory told of a possible early morning sighting while hunting near West Clear Creek
The witness was deer hunting with a companion in a ponderosa pine forest in the morning, walking separate routes to flush deer. After noticing a fox ahead that repeatedly looked back, the witness looked behind and saw a tall, broad, hair-covered biped about 120 yards away walking down into a wash while looking toward the witness. The figure disappeared into the wash after about 5 to 8 seconds, and the witness continued the hunt without following or searching for tracks.
Deer hunters find tracks in mountains northwest of Williams
The witness reports finding numerous human-like footprints of varying sizes after hiking a considerable distance from camp during a deer-hunting trip. The largest prints were described as very long and unusually deep compared to the witness's own boot impression. A relative who also saw the prints thought they were probably a hoax, while the witness doubted anyone could have faked many deep prints of different sizes that far out.
