The main witness was washing hands at the kitchen window in the evening when a large dark figure ran past about 15 feet away. She saw its head and shoulders and said it was too tall to be human and moved too fast to identify clearly. A relative who did not see the figure relayed the account.

Large unseen creature intimidates fishermen
The witness and a companion were fishing in the evening when they heard loud breathing and grunting sounds approaching from across the river. Animals and birds were seen moving away from the sounds while branches were seen and heard breaking nearby, followed by a loud splash. Believing the source was upset by their presence, they left the area and the witness reports not returning to fish there.
