Fisherman reports possible sightings and activity around Lake James
The witness was driving home from night fishing with a relative when they noticed a reddish-brown entity behind a guardrail. Only the head and shoulders were visible above the rail on a steep embankment, observed briefly in high beams. The witness described broad shoulders, medium-length maintained hair, human-like facial features with a slight nasal bridge, and skin darker than the hair.

Two campers collecting firewood at night heard a repeated long scream coming from deep in the valley to the southwest. The sound continued for several minutes every few seconds, changing into a broken-up cackle or yodel-like sound. Having never heard such a sound despite regular camping in the area, they relocated to another campsite for the night.
