On a sunny late morning the witness was driving slowly south on a rural road south of town. He saw a large upright figure crossing ahead, coming from the direction of the river and heading toward the bluffs. The figure walked very quickly with long strides and swinging arms across an open planted field. The witness followed briefly by vehicle but remained about 100 yards away before the figure disappeared into woods after about one to two minutes.
Group of campers has strange encounters over three nights near Fraser
A group camping near a river spent three late nights walking north of their campsite to look for Sasquatch. They claim loud tree knocks, howls, grunts, heavy bipedal movement and red glowing eyes, plus a shadowy figure that rose from about five feet to about eight feet tall. They also claim a glow stick left on a gravel road was later found moved to the base of a hollow tree.

The witness was driving west on a paved rural road after collecting a child from camp when a dark upright figure was spotted walking on the gravel shoulder well ahead. As the vehicle closed the distance, the figure looked toward the vehicle, ran along the shoulder, cut across into the opposite lane while moving uphill, then turned off onto a tractor access and vanished into a cornfield and woods about 100 yards away. The witness's son in the vehicle also saw the figure, while the daughter did not, and the witness described it as dark and shaggy with a fast, unusual motion that left doubt about whether it was human.
Huge animal screams and circles campsite at Finger Lake Park
Four people were camping around a campfire at Rocky Fork Lake in July 2004 when a large animal came from the woods to the south, circled the campsite three times at close range, and ran toward the lake emitting a high-pitched howl and pig-like squeals before running behind the camp. The group later noticed smeared foot impressions at the site, but rain had obscured detail and no identifiable evidence was preserved.
