The witness was sitting on the patio at home on a warm sunny midafternoon when a loud vocalization was heard from the woods behind the house. The sound reminded the witness of televised Bigfoot researchers' calls and caused goosebumps. No creature was seen.

Fisherman recalls being startled by late night encounter on Fletcher Pond near Hillman
The witness and a companion were bass fishing from a boat on Fletcher Pond around midnight on a full-moon night. They heard a loud roar from the dark shoreline and seconds later something splashed into the water very close to the boat. Startled, they started the motor and returned to the lodge without seeing the source.
