Early one summer morning the witness looked out a home window before work and noticed a very large black figure moving through crab-apple trees and brush behind the house. A second, smaller black figure then moved through the same area, shaking vegetation as it ran. The larger figure stopped in thick brush and stared toward the witness at the window for less than a minute before looking toward the dog kennel and walking uphill out of sight. Fruit the witness had discarded in the yard the night before was gone the next day.

The witness was exploring woods in the morning after hearing activity in the brush and climbed a small knoll for a better view. At close range he saw a creature kneeling on one knee that stood and stared at him before walking into dense woods and looking back once. He attempted to follow with an audio recorder but only heard uncertain sounds in the brush and eventually lost his pack and left as darkness approached.

Three occupants of a car driving home around 2 a.m. noticed a dark shape in a roadside ditch by a bridge. When the driver backed up, the figure stood up, leaned over briefly, then rushed toward the car covering distance very quickly. The driver accelerated away and the occupants saw it enter the road behind them. They described a large thick-built figure with coarse hair, a large belly, round head and no neck, and noted a terrible skunk-like odor.

Around 2 a.m. the witness sat in a car on a road across from a state park when an entity with long arms and reddish-appearing hair walked up the roadside, crossed the street and yards, and entered the woods under a streetlight. An outdoor dog that normally barked remained silent. About two hours later a sheriff drove up and down the road shining a spotlight, which the witness speculated was a search after someone else reported something.

The witness was sitting on the patio talking when she glanced toward the woods behind the home. A tall black two-legged creature took two large steps past a shelter and barn and disappeared. It did not turn, make noise, or appear to notice her.

The creature walked along the tracks, then sprinted and jumped down into brush on the far side. While driving south on Route 77 near Salt Fork Lake State Park in the early morning, the witness saw a huddled shape against the guardrail and first thought it was a bear that had been hit. After backing up, the witness watched from about 15 to 20 feet away as the shape stood on two legs, stepped over the guardrail, and walked into the woods. The observation lasted about 15 to 20 seconds in moonlight and was followed by a strong skunk-like odor; the witness stayed in the car out of fear.

Two people driving home from work in winter stopped to watch a large upright hair-covered figure walking along a creek through deep snow. They observed it for several minutes as it continued away along the creek without struggling in the snow, then repositioned to where it was headed and waited until dark without seeing it again. No tracks were found when they later checked the field entrances.

The witness fled up the bank, fell while running, and later avoided the bridge at night.

The witness and a companion were sitting on their deck in a rural wooded area after midnight when they heard a very loud, deep howling lasting two to three minutes. They later played an online recording of reported howling that they felt sounded exactly the same. About fifteen minutes after the sound, they went outside and noticed a very foul odor described as skunk mixed with urine.

The witness was driving northbound in the afternoon and looked into a corn field beside a wooded area. The witness claimed to see a tall, slim, dark-haired figure walking across the field at a distance. The sighting occurred in cloudy daylight conditions.

The witness reports inspecting the yard on May 26, 2002 after being told about footprints about two weeks earlier, finding multiple sets of large footprints following a muddy ravine through the front yard. A bird feeder was found bent over while a nearby feeder was untouched, suspected to have been pulled down by the track makers. The witness states the family has not personally seen the creatures.

One of them noticed a large very dark brown monkey- or gorilla-like creature watching them from behind bushes on the far bank. After staring for what seemed a minute, both fled uphill and watched it moving through the brush in an upright walk.
