The witness's husband was hunting alone from an elevated stand on the evening of November 18, 2019. He heard a series of loud vocalizations, howls, knocks and gibberish-like sounds from dense brush, with a second individual answering from down a draw. After he shouted a warning and fired a shot toward advancing growls, two unseen creatures charged through the brush chasing him to the road, where they stopped as he fled to his truck.

The animal stood upright, revealing a very tall, broad, dark-brown hairy human-like form, and the driver got out and shouted at it. They braked hard, and the animal stood up from a squat, moved to the roadside, looked at them briefly, vocalized, and left into the woods. They heard a distant roar that suddenly sounded a few feet away, lit the area with a spotlight, and saw a tall upright creature with its back to them that ran and then paused. The creature roared again when shot at and pushed over a green cottonwood before the group left.

The witness and companions were cooking catfish at a hunting camp when a noise came from the well where fish guts had been left. The witness went toward the well with a light and rifle, heard a moan, and saw a large dark form that stood upright. After shouting warnings and firing shots in the air, the witness said the form moved off and footsteps were heard in leaves. The next day large five-toed tracks were found at the well and most of the guts were gone.

Late one afternoon the witness walked through a creek bottom toward a relative's deer stand. He smelled a foul odor and heard something large moving in a swampy thicket. The animal crossed an opening 50 to 75 yards away, and he watched it for about 30 seconds as it covered about 30 feet in a few long steps. He described it as a 6 to 7 foot tall, broad, stooped biped covered in dark brown hair.

On a bright early morning in summer 1972, the witness and his brother were sleeping at home when the witness noticed a large shadow at the window that remained about five minutes. After the brother woke and made a noise, the figure turned, showing a flat-faced profile and hunched posture, then walked away and was seen from the back door as covered in dark hair. The figure paused when they struck the glass, then continued leaving. A day later they found tracks behind the house leading toward the houses.

The creature grunted and shuffled back into the woods, and the group quickly got in the car and left.

The witness and her younger sister were talking in a dark bedroom late at night when they heard twigs crunching outside. Looking out the window in bright moonlight, they saw a very large hairy bipedal animal in the yard. Their grandfather came to the room, knocked out the window screen and fired a rifle at it. The animal bellowed, ran on two legs and stepped over a barbed-wire fence toward a creek, and no sign was found the next day.
