Late at night while driving to help a friend, the witness saw what first looked like logs on the roadside. On closer approach it appeared as a dark hair-covered figure seen from behind, which stepped easily over a roadside railing and went down into the woods toward power lines. The next day footprints at the spot were cast during a site visit with a local researcher.

The witness shone a flashlight out a window and saw a large hairy biped walking away, which his wife also watched from a second window heading up a ravine. Late at night in mid-November 2012, the witness stepped outside a basement apartment to smoke. About 140 yards to the east, the witness watched a tall cinnamon-brown figure pace back and forth for about three to four minutes near a house light before it disappeared. The figure moved smoothly with no head bob and had long shaggy head hair, with lower legs hidden by a rise in ground. After losing sight of it, the witness went inside to wake the spouse.

The witness stopped at a stone quarry in the late afternoon to look for deer and saw a dark, uniformly colored biped moving very quickly through tall grass on uneven terrain. The figure held its arms at its sides and appeared to float rather than run, crossed a path beside a corn field, then entered standing corn and disappeared. The observation lasted about 15 seconds at an estimated distance of 225 yards.

Two companions driving slowly on a dark rural road late at night noticed a large dark figure standing on a steep bank at the road edge. They initially thought it was a large person in dark clothing, but as they passed within a few feet it turned its torso to look at them, showing a broad human-like face with a very wide upturned nose, a large torso with breasts, and a conical head with dark coarse hair. They concluded it did not appear human and continued driving without stopping.

Late at night the witness was driving on a narrow wooded road when a hairy figure darted from the roadside and crossed in front of the vehicle. The witness braked hard and briefly saw the figure from the side and rear in the headlights as it went up a bank into the woods. The figure was described as tall, powerfully built and long-haired with no visible neck.

The witness saw a large upright hair-covered being run across the road in front of the car and climb the bank into dense thickets. The driver saw movement but not details, and the occupants heard sounds of it moving upslope through leaf litter before it disappeared.

The witness was deer hunting with companions and stopped to rest on a hill. A black entity about the witness's height ran very fast down the hill about 50 yards away and disappeared in about five seconds, with breaking deadfall heard as it left. The witness was startled, thought it might have been watching, and later wondered if it was a large bear or loose livestock.

They shouted at it, advanced for a better look, then fled home in fear. The next day they compared descriptions and agreed closely.

In 1979 the witness had moved ahead of a hiking group in the Adirondacks to watch beavers and was walking back to the main trail. Something flushed from thick brush ran diagonally toward the witness on the trail, pounding loudly and wailing like a woman screaming, and was seen partially as a fast, upright furry figure about four and a half feet tall. The witness initially assumed a bear cub but later doubted that because it ran upright for about 150 feet and the vocalization resembled sounds associated with Bigfoot reports.

Something off the trail followed alongside her, keeping pace and making increasingly loud breaking and movement sounds, and she glimpsed a very tall blocky dark shape moving beside her while hearing breathing. She stayed on the trail with it alongside until the edge of the woods, then ran to a nearby building while it remained in the woods.

The visible legs were described as stocky, straight, and covered in long golden reddish brown hair. The creature turned slowly, took a few steps, and disappeared into underbrush without making noise, unnoticed by the dog.
