Daylight sighting by mountain biker in Black Hut Management Area outside Glendale
The witness was mountain biking with a dog in a management area when they noticed a light-colored figure squatting with its back turned about 50 yards away near a chasm. The figure turned, stood up fairly erect, and disappeared into the woods. The witness rode to the spot but found no tracks, hair, odor, or sign of direction, and the dog did not react.

The witness, then a child, was riding at night in the rain with his mother looking for deer when a fallen tree blocked the narrow road. When the headlights swung toward the stump, they saw a tall pale ape-like figure standing beside it staring at them for several seconds. The mother reversed the car and drove away quickly.
Bicycling student has night encounter
Late at night the witness stopped under a streetlight while biking back to school to fix a brake. He heard loud bipedal footsteps approaching, then saw a white-haired gorilla-like creature about 20-25 feet away. The creature chased him briefly, moving bipedally and on its knuckles, before stopping, swaying, and climbing over a rock wall. The witness rode to a nearby house and waited until morning.
