The witness was playing by a creek when they spotted a tall, muscular creature in a nearby thicket. The animal stood upright on two legs and walked toward the creek while favoring one side. Startled, the witness fled and never saw the creature again.

On a summer evening at dusk the witness was behind the home with the dog near a drainage pond bordering woods. The witness noticed rustling and saw a tall, hairy bipedal figure about 100 yards away just inside the treeline. The witness and dog watched it for a couple minutes until it looked toward them, then it turned and walked deeper into the woods, increasing its pace.

The witness and several companions were sitting in parked cars at a state park fishing area late at night. They heard something crashing down a wooded slope and saw a tall dark human-like figure land on the road, pause to look back, then sprint away with loud slapping footsteps. The witness claims to have watched a large brown-haired creature at the Little Bennett campsite in Frederick, Maryland on July 31, 1996. The creature was observed from about 20 yards away for about two minutes while feeding on tree leaves before moving off into the woods.

The witness was riding a motorcycle north on a straight stretch of road. A large dark bipedal thing emerged from woods on the right, crossed the road in six steps, and disappeared into woods on the other side. The witness first thought it was a person and noted no other traffic was present.

The witness was fishing on the north bank of a river when a dog on the south bank barked at brush and confronted an upright, hair-covered animal. The animal knocked the dog down, emitted a ticking sound and a musky odor, then walked into the woods where the witness lost sight of it while wearing waders. The witness later found the dog with blood on it and reported seeing a taped-off police search at the site.

In the summer of 1970 the witness was walking with a pony and dog in thick woods behind the family home when a large dark hairy biped was seen on a hill beyond a fence about 50 feet away. The witness fled in fright while the animals showed no reaction. The figure was never seen again.
