They went to the back door and watched a large black hairy figure step over a chain-link fence and walk into the woods. The witnesses then drove to a fork below, spoke briefly with a horseback rider, and later mentioned the sighting in town.

A group of six scouts hiking toward a third lake on a midday break claimed an encounter with a biped. Three of the group saw a tall, broad, brownish-haired biped cross the trail from left to right about 75 feet ahead in one to two seconds. The three were shaken and described the same appearance to the other three, who had been engaged in sign conversation and had not seen it. The group approached the crossing site by a small meadow but found nothing further.

The creature appeared startled and was holding material that looked like clothing, then bounded across the road, jumped a 4.5-foot fence, and disappeared up a hill. The occupants screamed and the driver braked hard.

On the second evening at dusk while walking armed along a dirt road, they encountered a very tall dark-haired bipedal figure standing on the road watching them. After a brief staredown the figure turned and walked unhurried into the forest with heavy breaking-branch footsteps, and the next day large footprints were found leading away across a creek.

The witness went to the bottom of a hill near a relative's home at Canton Lake to smoke. After hearing a crushing and rustling noise, the witness saw a tall black bipedal being about twenty yards away that looked at the witness and raised its arms. The witness then ran back up the hill to the relative's home.

At a youth camp at night, the witness was inside a dorm getting ready for bed when campers in another dorm shouted about someone outside. Minutes later the witness watched a figure near a dumpster walk toward the dorm and peer in through a window from about 12 feet away for 20 to 30 seconds before disappearing. The next morning a discarded box was found on the ground with large footprints nearby.
