The witness was riding as a passenger in a truck in the evening when they noticed a large hair-covered biped about 60 yards from the highway. Early one sunny morning, the witness looked out a bathroom window and saw a jet-black, ape-like figure running bipedally along the backyard fence. The figure ran silently and fluidly over uneven leaf-covered ground with its arms held like a human runner, then disappeared into the woods. About a minute later the witness heard repeated rock-knocking sounds from the woods. A later inspection of the area found no footprints.

Late at night at home, the witness and three companions heard banging on the deck and went outside to investigate. In moonlight they saw a large shape kneeling on the lawn that stood and ran across the lawn, through a puddle, and up a driveway. The group later heard low growling and groaning, and the following afternoon the witness found a large footprint in a nearby sandbox.

Frightened, she did not stop and drove quickly past.
