The witness and a companion were driving home from church at night on Highway 101 when they noticed movement on the right side of the road. They slowed thinking it was a deer, but the animal stood on two legs and crossed the road. They described a very large, wide, hair-covered creature that moved easily and quickly disappeared.

The witness was driving home at night in Mansfield when headlights revealed a small black-haired biped. The creature ran across the two-lane road upright on two legs with arms swinging, crossing in a few strides. On Feb. 1, 2007 while driving on Highway 60 past Vernon, the witness saw a bipedal creature running toward the road. It placed a hand on a fence T-post, vaulted over, crossed the two-lane road in a few strides, and continued into a narrow canyon out of sight. Two people walking to a swamp for duck hunting in the Tuskegee National Forest saw a tall dark bipedal figure crossing a beaver dam. The figure was described as black from head to toe and moving quickly toward the woods, apparently carrying a large object, without acknowledging them. They watched for about 20 seconds from about 120-130 yards away and then ended the hunt.

He described jet-black wet hair hanging over its face, a chimp-like nose and mouth, and large limbs, estimating it was the size of a large man.

The witness was driving east on Highway 11 just outside Fort Frances in daylight when a tall dark moose-sized figure crossed the road on two legs from the south woods to the north woods. The figure moved casually and fluidly, covering the two lanes in a few steps. The witness sped up to try to see it go deeper into the bush but lost sight of it.

While delivering newspapers before sunrise, the witness stopped at paper tubes and noticed a dark figure walking along the edge of a cornfield by the treeline. The figure turned toward the witness, showing large red eyes, paused to look again when the witness moved the vehicle for a better view, then continued walking away. The witness left quickly after watching for about 20 to 25 seconds.

He returned the next day, found apparent footprints, and photographed them.

They watched a fur-covered figure crouched at the water's edge drinking with its hand. The figure stood to at least eight feet, stared at them without blinking for a minute or two, then resumed drinking as the two left in fear.

A deer hunter in scent-masking clothes and a ghillie suit was set up on a rock overlooking a saddle at daybreak. A large dark ape-like animal threw a stick that landed behind him, then charged after he shouted and pointed his muzzleloader. He fired in front of it to deter it; it stopped, stood, grunted, and a smaller one emerged crying before both left. He abandoned his gear and found it ransacked the next day.

The witness was at a wooded church camp at night when a tall black-haired biped trotted across about 50 feet away for about seven seconds. The witness noted a dome-like head, very large shoulders, and long arms hanging straight down while the shoulders twisted with movement. About a minute later a strong foul odor was noticed, followed minutes later by a series of loud hoots. The next morning the witness found large human-like barefoot tracks in sand.

The figure was briefly seen while driving past and appeared to be waiting to cross. The witness was driving a straight truck east on a highway near the Missouri River before dawn and saw a dark figure crouched on the right shoulder in the headlights.
