Motorists recount incident on the side of a highway near the BC-Alberta border

The witness and companions had pulled to the side of a road to sleep in their car late at night. After hearing a slap or thump on the roof, the witness looked out and saw a tall, hair-covered biped running across the road toward the woods, lit by passing headlights. The group then left to sleep at a truck stop instead.
