Ape-like creature seen by a Tow-Truck driver between Splitlake and Gilliam Manitoba

The witness had pulled a tow truck to the side of a gravel road in the early morning to nap. After hearing an indescribable noise twice, the witness saw a tall dark-haired figure standing in the road that watched briefly before retreating toward brush while glancing back. The witness drove away quickly and later told a local officer and a roommate about the sighting.
